Day 2 of keeping you as my witness.
Yesterday I got home really late and so I was really tired. I almost almost couldn't put myself into doing it. Luckily ,though, I got to do sit ups. I wasn't lazy ,come on! I just got freaked out that I might have to teach my students Thai country music and everybody knows that this type of music requires special kind of groove. It's hard to sing it. And so when I got home, I practiced and practiced and before I realized, it was 11 pm already.
Anyway after talking on the phone a bit, I decided that I need to have something to write about in my "flat tummy" blog so I did sit ups! and yes after doing it 2-3 times, it was not that difficult to do it at all. Not that time consuming, not that exhausting. I finished it with pride!!!
I still feel guilty that I didn't do the cardio exercise ,though. So this morning, I went to the gym (for the 1st time after my operation) and I joined 50 minute cycling class, an hour of a dancing class and 20 minutes of running. I might have burnt about 1,000 calories. I know that my body burns abour 1200 calories per day so I should be fine today.
Not only that! I also did sit ups, push ups, lower back and thigh weight training.
Guys! It's true of what they said the most difficult period for exercising is "before" you start exercising! It ,actually, feels good "during" it.
May be you want to join this flat tummy program with me.
Okay here's what my plan is!!
3 sets of sit ups 30 reps per set- 2 times per day (or if I can do more than 30 reps per set, I will do it)
3 sets of push ups, 3 sets of thigh exercise
at least 30 minutes of cardio vascular exercise such as dancing, running (Gosh! how I miss swimming)
cutting off snacks between meal (hey! it's hot now in Thailand and I need sugar!!)
So hopefully before going to bed today, I can do another 3 sets of sit ups. Wish me luck!!!
Until then...
