Be my witness

My age will be my little top secret now and I don't wanna talk about it. I only know that the last time I had a "flat tummy" was during my 3rd grade. That's it!!!  All ages after that have been filled with float, fat, and lack of opportunities to show a belly button like other teenagers.  I have done every single thing. I had a crash diet, took diet pills (yep! yo yo effect does exist! tellin' ya), had some sort of injections to dissolve fat, baught documents online, hired personal trainers, daily jogged on a running track  in a gym  for 2 hours. My dear swollen tummy still stays.

I'm not arguing about the effection of exercises! It's the best way to stay fit. I stayed  kinda fit in general (except for the area of my tummy- god knows it wouldn't be flat!)  for a while during the working out at a gym .  I think it's true for all of us - non athlete that the world of staying fit seems to be mysterious and that people who got paid to help us fit don't seem THAT serious to help us.  I ,sometimes, tell myself to just make peace with my non flat tummy and live with it.

Until recently, well um... almost a week...now.  I started doing serious sit ups and made it my routine.  I just had a major operation 2 months ago and weren't able to go to the gym so my whole body gets bigger. I love eating and so it's hard for me to be on a diet.  I couldn't cope with my tummy any more. It bloated even more after the operation perhaps out of a side effect. I was healthy enough to do sit ups so I made up my mind "I'm just gonna try doing it"

The thing about sit ups that bugged me is that I never could do it right. My body always cheated somehow. They said that if your tummy couldn't feel any pain after the sit ups, it will not be effective.   And so I felt like ...heck...it was the waste of time...I really didn't know how to do it. I was annoyed by my muscle's stupidity.

Well... back to the period of a week ago when I started doing sit ups again, I felt stomach pain the day after. I was surprised but didn't expect much because what always happened was that after repeating it on that day, I stopped feeling the pain. But in spite of my bad experiences, I still continued doing it the next day and guess what...it still hurt! that I had to stop on the 3rd and 4th day.

Lemme check now.... okay it still hurts even now.

Guys... I decided to have my readers as my witness of my little experience. I've been told that if it hurts (not as an muscle injury), it's a correct way of sitting ups which result in my flatter stomach starting on the 3rd month.  I've added another round after waking up for 2 days now also.  I hope to not give up on it.

Will report to you soon.
